Ann B. Metzinger, Dr. PH, LDN, RD

Dr. Metzinger is a certified, Registered Dietitian with The American Dietetic Association and a Licensed Dietitian/ Nutritionist with the Louisiana Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition. 

Dr. Metzinger, has over 40 years of experience teaching and practicing Nutrition and Dietetics. 

She has acted as reviewer for several professional journals including the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and the Journal of Nutrition Education, and has performed formal reviews of examinations for the American Board for Occupational Health and several other certified testing facilities.  

She has published articles in respected national medical journals such as the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and Preventive Medicine, and has performed countless hours of documented research in her field.

Dr. Metzinger has been featured during lectures and workshops across the country and continues to serve on many professional committees in the state of Louisiana. 

Dr. Metzinger has been appointed to the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine's Alumni Board of Directors and to the Advisory Board for the school's internship. 

On July 1, 2000 Dr. Metzinger was designated as Associate Professor Emeritus for Tulane University.
