Alan P. Mintz, M.D.

 

Dr. Mintz’s dynamic vision and commitment to excellence as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder have set the tone for making Cenegenics® the paradigm of Medical Institutes.  Dr. Mintz has completed the AMA/PRA Level 4 Classification, Parts 1 & 2, Tutorial Training in Age Management Medicine jointly sponsored by the Cenegenics Medical Institute and The Foundation for Care Management.  With his professional expertise and guidance, Cenegenics Medical Institute has been accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA) to offer up to 50 Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits to physician affiliates.  Dr. Mintz has also been a driving force in implementing University Affiliated Research.  To complement his outstanding career as a physician and businessman, Dr. Mintz has gained international notoriety as a lecturer and published author in prestigious publications including the Journal of Anti-Aging Medicine and Total Health.  Dr. Mintz further demonstrated his commitment to health and wellness when, at the age of 58, he earned the title of 1996 Amateur Athletic Union Mr. Illinois in the Grand Masters Division.  A graduate of The University of Chicago, Dr. Mintz earned his Internal Medicine degree from the University of Illinois-School of Medicine.  Prior to postgraduate training in Radiology, Dr. Mintz served his country as a physician with the United States Navy.  He is a Diplomate for the American Board of Radiology, including Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy.  Throughout his career, Dr. Mintz was appointed Chairman of the Department of Radiology for several Chicago area hospitals, and served as Adjunct Professor for the Center for Cardiovascular Research at Northeastern Illinois University.   An avid athlete with a passion for skiing, Dr. Mintz was a Medical Advisor for the National Ski Patrol and an influential member of the Board of Directors for the Steinmetz Academy for Wellness and Sports Science.  Dr. Mintz is no stranger to success having previously been Chief Executive Officer, President and Co-Founder of Medicon, Inc., the world's largest HMO radiology management company.
